Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer, with its excellent properties and wide application, has
become one of the important thermoplastic elastomer materials, its molecules are basically
linear, there is no or very little chemical crosslinking. There are many hydrogen bonds formed
between the physical crosslinking of linear polyurethane chains, the shape of the hydrogen bond
play the role of reinforcement, thus giving many excellent properties, such as high modulus, high
strength, excellent wear resistance, chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance and high temperature
and fungus resistance. The good performance of the thermoplastic polyurethane is widely used in
shoes, clothing, cable, automotive, medical, pipe, film and sheet and many other fields. Final products
generally do not need to be vulcanized cross linked, can shorten the reaction cycle, reduce energy
consumption. Because it is basically a linear polymer structure, using technology and equipment with
the same thermoplastic processing, such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, calendering,
medium and small size parts particularly suitable for mass production. The waste material can be
recycled and reused, the production or processing can use different additives or fillers to improve
some physical properties and reduce the cost.
